All donations to Speech and Language Development Center (SLDC) support the mission of providing education and therapy to children and adults with special needs. SLDC is committed to ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and security of those who make donations to support our mission.
SLDC manages a number of fundraising initiatives to make every donated dollar go further for our students. We will carefully consider the needs of the organization and will use your gift where we determine it is most needed, so that all donations may directly and indirectly support the children and adults at SLDC. When processing each gift, we will follow documented SLDC rules and agreements, the Donor’s Bill of Rights, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles standards.
By making a donation to SLDC, a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization, the donor understands that the donation is non-refundable. The donation will be used in compliance with IRS regulations for the support of SLDC programs and services. For ticket purchases and event registrations refunds are available only if the event is canceled by SLDC. A refund is not given if you are unable to attend the event.
